What IMSA does: We have analysed the range of current opinions about the use of coal as fuel for electricity production in the Netherlands and identified a possible win-win situation. Our report was one of the input documents for a discussion about the subject organised by EDN in February 2008. Another project for EDN concerns our collaboration in investigating the public support for and concerns about CCS, Carbon Capture and Storage. For more information: Jan Paul van Soest.

The King Baudouin Foundation is a pluralistic and independent institute
in Belgium that strives to improve the living conditions of people on a
national, European and International level. In order to do this they
supports projects and citizens with a commitment to build a better
society, looking for sustainable ways of bringing about justice,
democracy and respect for diversity. The foundation was established in
1976 on the 25th anniversary of the coronation of King Baudouin.
